Can a Website Be Overoptimized?
-
When does too much search engine optimization become a problem for a website? What is over optimization and how can one avoid it? These are questions that any SEO Company should know about and understand for the sake of their clients that they offer SEO services for. Over optimization is no longer a myth, it has been confirmed by many people.

Perhaps it’s like an abusive steroid user, where big enough is never enough. Once they get started, they just cant stop. Almost like an addiction.
A good SEO company can find the balance between too much and just enough SEO for a website. Timing is very important with SEO as far as articles and backlinks, internal changes, etc as well as good content. When a website is optimized, you can’t be in a rush to get it all done at once. Patience is very important for a successful SEO campaign. Results don’t come overnight (at first anyways), and if you are the impatient client type, the SEO is not what you are looking for. Search Engine Marketing (SEM) will deliver results much faster, but at a much higher price, plus, once you run out of par per click money, then the traffic suddenly stops too.
