Internal Linking

A good internal linking structure can really help Search Engines with indexing your website completely. If your website is broken up, then you could end up having some very lonely pages. Proper linking is the partial key to youe website’s success.
When linking pages internally, make sure that there is relevance from on page to the next. For example, we sell SEO and SEM management plans, and they are closely related. So it would be wise to offer a very visible link to the other page so that visitors can navigate back and forth to compare the services, and so that search engines find the relation too.
When a SE is at a web page about cars, but finds a link to a page about doctors, then there is no relevance and your internal ranking will be lower because of the poor relation. Once the page about cars links to another page about, for example, the new Chevy Volt, then SE’s will consider both of the pages of higher value.
Keep it simple. Make it make sense, and you’ll benefit greatly from internal linking.
