Internal Links Position

Linking you other pages within your website is a very important rule to follow for good seo. But linking them in the wrong spots can be just as bad as not linking them at all.
If you must have image links for your menu, then also consider using them in text form also with proper anchor text. Additionally, make sure that the text links are first in the code before the image links, because many spiders only follow the first link they find to a certain page and ignore the rest if they are going to the same place.
Do this, and you will have good internal linking.
